Durable doors for tough environments

Thermod has specialised for a long time in designing doors which can be placed in environments where ordinary doors are simply not up to mark. Their strength is in both material selection and design.

A door is often required to be resistant to moisture, which means that materials which are negatively affected by moisture have to be avoided. There are also environments where hygiene is very important, where it should be possible to wash the doors an unlimited numbers of times and where there are no surfaces allowing easy accumulation of dirt.

As regards cold rooms and freezer rooms, it is the thermal properties of the doors that are important. Not only the door leaf but also the frame must be capable of withstanding the temperature differences between the different rooms which in certain cases are very substantial. The whole structure must be capable of coping with the different types of stress and it is here that the strength of Thermod AB’s doors lies.
